Gall Bladder Back Pain
Gall bladder back pain is generally caused due to the inflammation or improper function of the gall bladder, a small pear-shaped organ (about 7-10 centimetres) on the underside of the liver.
Its main function is to collect and store bile, a brown – yellowish liquid which is made in the liver and stored in the gallbladder. The bile is used by the body to digest fats and mainly consists of water, cholesterol, bile acids, proteins, and bilirubin.
Gall Bladder Back Pain – Causes When we eat foods that contain fat, the gall bladder contracts to push out the bile into your small intestine and assists the digestive system in breaking down the fats, however if the bile contain too much cholesterol, bile salts or biliruben the liquid can harden and turn into solid pieces which are commonly known as gallstones.
